Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Purpose

A standard operating procedure, often referred to as SOP for short, is a written work instruction that describes in detail how a certain action should be performed, with the aim of creating uniformity in the execution of the action and therefore in the end result. A SOP is drawn up for specific actions on the work floor, and is therefore very closely related to the optimization of business processes. The definition of the workplace must be interpreted broadly.

Target Audience

Employees and managers of various company levels, but also at departmental level and who are directly or indirectly involved in setting up structured activities, whether or not for legal regulations.

Intent

This training consists of 1 half day (4 hours) and covers the functionality of a SOP document, recording processes and positioning in the organization. You will also learn how to set up, write, publish and maintain an SOP.
